Occupational Therapy

Occupation is different for every one of us, but it is linked specifically to our daily living skills and what we want and need to do each day. OT professionals are dual-trained in both mental and physical health to support and empower individuals to be the best that they can be.

Depending on what the focus of our sessions are, we may use standardised assessment tools with treatment outcome measures or just talk through ideas for addressing any challenges that fit your individual life circumstances – all led by you as a client.

Sessions with an occupational therapist will support you to look at those occupations that are part of your life, for example - self-care, work or study.

Each of us has our own special interests within our own practice (you can read these in my bio) but I'm happy to think with you about areas such as the following:

·sensory needs (if you would like a full sensory profile please see my other listing)
·executive function skills
·potential reasonable accommodations with work or studying

This list is not exhaustive, and I offer a free 15-minute consult, so please do get in touch if you feel I may be able to help so we can have a chat & discuss this.

We are always very open & want you to get the best support possible, on occasion it may be we recommend you see another TA therapist – or my partner in the OT Department due to our differing specialities.
