Meet Ayhan

Hi, I’m Ayhan, and I’m pleased to be part of Thriving Autistic.

You may have recently discovered that you’re Autistic, and I’d like to congratulate you on reaching this significant moment of self-awareness. Like you, I had my own realisation a while back, and since then I’ve learned quite a bit about Autism—especially how life-affirming it is to understand who you truly are.

I’m a UK-based psychotherapist who specialises in trauma. It might be helpful to chat with me if you’d like to learn more about psychotherapeutic approaches, especially Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). I’m also here if you have questions about Autism in general, such as masking and burnout.
My goal is to provide a space where you can be yourself without judgment. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, curious, or just want to talk things through, I’m here to support you.

  • Common areas we might explore include:
  • Understanding your Autistic identity
  • Unpacking the impact of masking
  • Coping with burnout
  • Managing sensory sensitivities

A very warm welcome to the Autistic community, and please get in touch if there’s anything that resonates with you.
